The Indian Home and Personal Care Industry Association (IHPCIA) successfully conducted an insightful webinar on "Changing Global Trade Scenarios and Their Impact on Indian Industry," featuring renowned economist and global trade expert Dr Badri Narayanan Gopalkrishnan. Dr. Badri, a former Joint Secretary at NITI Aayog and a globally respected authority on trade policy and economic modelling, shared valuable perspectives on the rapidly evolving global trade landscape and its implications for Indian industry.
During the session, Dr Badri discussed emerging global economic trends, shifting trade alliances, tariff developments, supply chain realignments, and the growing importance of sustainability and competitiveness in international markets. He highlighted how these developments are likely to influence India's manufacturing sector, exports, investments, and overall industrial growth.
Particular emphasis was placed on the opportunities and challenges facing the Home and Personal Care (HPC) industry. Participants gained valuable insights into strategies for enhancing resilience, improving global competitiveness, leveraging free trade agreements, and preparing for future regulatory and market changes.
The webinar witnessed active participation from industry leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders from across the Home and Personal Care sector.
